:: Fresh watermelon-basil summer smoothie

I N G R E D I E N T S

+ a small watermelon (ripe)
+ fresh sweet basil
+ lemon juice

I N S T R U C T I O N S

1. This is super easy and quick. You only need a blender.

2. Chop the watermelon in big chunks and place them in a blender together with the basil. You can use as much basil as you prefer. I used about 10 big leaves

3. Try the drink and add some lemon juice and maybe some water if you find the smoothie too sweet.

4. That’s it. Enjoy.


*this smoothie makes a great margarita or a cold yummy slurpy in the summer. Just add some ice cubes to the recipe & some vodka and voila!
